A video shared as part of the Tokyo Game Show 2020 festivities details some of Dan’s moves ahead and gives us a little more insight into how the character is going to work when he lands in Street Fighter V’s final season. If you’re familiar with the character, there aren’t too many surprises in store for you: flailing, kicking, punching, screaming are all present, along with the daft fighter’s “Gadouken” and “Koryuken” – his knock-off special moves. The best thing, though, is Dan’s Legendary Taunt move. The returning super combo does no damage and sees Dan act up and show off. It’s brilliant. Dan may have started as a joke character, but he’s really come into his own over his last few appearances and looks to be as viable as any other character in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition’s bulging roster. Dan arrives this winter and is the first character of Street Fighter V’s final season. More characters (including Rose, Oro, and Akira) are due to arrive by Summer 2021. You can take a look at what’s coming to the game – and when – below.
